The show would not be the success it continues to be without the efforts of all the team and the Stars Dancers who opened last years show with a great routine to Alexandra Burkes ‘Bad Boys’ and continued throughout the night with stunning routines and costumes. James Proudfoot (JP) from Greenlight TV also produced some great interview clips, charity history and of course the legendary out-takes montage for the big screens on the night.

The generous support of the Manx Public continues to amaze the Stars team year after year. Last years event raised £18,000 for Rebecca House.

"TOMORROW" comes early for little orphan Annie!

Georgia Maddox became the 2009 Manx Stars in Their Eyes winner singing Tomorrow from the 1982 film 'Annie'. Georgia (11) won the first prize of £750 from Jaks Pub & Steakhouse.

In second place was Michelle Jamieson who sang 'I Dreamed a Dream' as performed by Susan Boyle on ITV's Britain's Got Talent. Michelle (11) wearing what looked like a minature version of Susan Boyles clothes, together with her Britain's Got Talent number, won the second prize of £500 from Sound Choice.

Third place went to Sam Smith who amazed the crowd with his sound-a-like of Dion and the hit single 'Runaround Sue'. Sam received a cheque for £250 for third place from Timberland

Other singers on the night included Lisa Cloete who sang Pixie Lott's 'Mama Do', Mike Corkhill transformed into Michael Ball singing ‘Love Changes Everything’, Nigel Thijs sang ‘With or without you’ as Bono from U2, Sheryl Mathieson sang Michael Jackson’s hit ‘Ben’, Martin Linham rocked the stage as Paul Rodgers singing ‘All Right Now’, Mark Corkhill sang a ‘Careless Whisper’ as George Michael, Anthony Britton transformed into Caleb Followill of the Kings of Leon and belted out the hit single ‘Sex is on Fire’, Iain Dixon appeared as Josh Groban singing ‘Your Still You’, Melissa McMurray sang as Sandy Shaw with her song ‘Puppet on a String’, Laura Thompson added some attitude as Lilly Allen with her song ‘Not Fair’, Lesley Bell was ‘Holding out for a Hero’ as Bonnie Tyler and finishing the show was David Cain who added a great dance routine to his song ‘Black & Gold’ by Sam Sparrow.
